Is there ample parking at the start / finish line?Yes, Southside Works is a retail mall type of facility and they have both garage and outside parking lots as well as on street parking in and around this area. If I am the first participant on my relay team, how do I get back to the Finish Line?Shuttles will be available at the relay exchange to take the first leg participants to the finish line to meet up with their teammate. What If I am the second participant on my relay team, how do I get to the Exchange Area for the handoff?Shuttles will be available at the start/finish line to take the second leg team members to the exchange to start their leg of the event. Shuttle will leave Southside Works at 7:00 a.m. for the relay exchange area. How can I pick up my packet if I can't make it to the Health & Fitness Expo?Email Run Wild Racing at customerservice@runwildracing.com in order to make alternative arrangements to get your packet, bib #, timing chip and shirt. NOTE: You can have a friend or relative pick up your packet. If someone is picking up your packet, you need to give them your race confirmation or the expo staff will not issue your bib # and packet to them. Do I have to wear the timing chip during race? No, but if you do not wear the timing chip, you will NOT be eligible for a time, results or awards. We will not hand time athletes or manually enter times into the system. NOTE: We also chip time our events because it is a back-up form of tracking you, the athlete, to make sure everyone is accounted for at the end of the day. Will I be able to exchange my shirt if I ordered the wrong size?Yes, but only after the race is complete and if we have the size you want left in our inventory. It is very important to give us the correct size to ensure you get the size you need. What if my information listed in the pre-registration list is incorrect? Please e-mail customerservice@runwildracing.com with your name and correct information and we will correct it before Packet Pick-Up. If I am progressing in the race slower than 15:00 minutes per mile, will I be removed from the race course?Yes, our course is unique in that it goes through five different jurisdictions. In order to close roads, ensure the safety of the participants, and inconvenience surrounding communities as little as possible, we must have a course time limit. Similar to other races across the country with time limits, you will be given a one mile cushion to recover and get back to the cut off or better. If you cannot recover, a race vehicle will pick you up and bring you to the finish line. |
